I know sometimes I can be crazy. Like, my animals are driving me nuts. So, what do I do, I get a new dog! That make perfect sense right? This is how it happened. About a month ago, Joe and Bella were going to the animal shelter to play with the cats. I said that is a horrible idea because One of them is going to want to take one home. (this is kind of how we ended up with Tuff who is destroying everything and will not stay in a fence. Joe was just going to look at the puppies) They both said "NO WAY, we are just going to look" I went along to be the person of sound mind. That didn't work out. After we played with the cats we went to look at the dogs. There were a ton of puppies and some other dogs. Then I saw this big Dalmation in deep sleep on the concrete floor. I was suprised he was sleeping so hard when it was so noisey in the room with all the other dogs. I then read on his card he was 10 years old and completley deaf. I have ALWAYS wanted a Dalmation and after learing he was old, deaf, and his oweners were elderly and couldn't take care of him anymore because they had to move in with their kids, I was hooked. I am such a sucker! He was missing the hair on his back because he has a flea allergy. After Joe and I talked about it, we ssaid we would take him, but he had to be free of fleas before he came to our house. So, I came back to the shelter to walk him and get to know him and then he went home with one of the voulunteers until he was flea free. I picked him up a week ago. He is really amazing. He really is completley deaf. Bella and I tested this. We yelled, screamed, whistled, made as much noise as we could and nothing. He does know hand camands. Which is neat. A little like sign language for dogs. It cracked me up when Joe came home for the weekend and he had to test his hearing, too. He really is deaf. I guess because he can't hear or he is just that loveable, but he cuddles all the time and wants to be petted a lot. He is really great! Between Lammy (our 10 almost 11 year old dog) and the new dog, Ashes, we are like assisted living for dogs. Right now we are just fostering him to make sure he fits in and everything goes okay. At this moment, I think he is a keeper!

Cracks me up

Brenna,Bowie, Brady, Kelli, Keelin, Kinsey, and Bella and I went to H&M and then to Ikea. It was as hectic as it sounds, but it was fun. By the little hot dog cinnamon bun area by check out there is a huge picture that covers the whole wall. It of a kitchen. While we were enjoying our snacks the big kids started to pretend they were in the kitchen. The pictures crack me up because they look like little people in a giant world.

Bella and I have been gone for a week visiting Joe in Orange Beach. He is working like crazy so we didn't get to spend a lot of time with him, but we were happy to be in the same state at least. Bella and I went to the beach even though the jellyfish were thick in Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area. It wasn't this bad when were there in March. I am am wondering if it is seasonal or something. Joe's brother and his family were in Destin the same week. Bella and I stayed with them for 2 nights. Joe did get to comeover and have dinner and stayed one night. We had a great time and I am really thankful for the friendship I have with my sister in-law Kim. We had a great time. Joe took part of Saturday and until we had to leave on Sunday off and we had a great time except that Bella was stung by a jellyfish right before we left the beach on Sunday. Her poor little ankle swelled up. A lady on the next beach towel over had a bag on amonia. I have to say I was a little concerned when she pulled out a baggie of yellow liquid. But, it was amonia and we put some on Bella's anke and it was almost instant that the pain stopped.

My Purse

Yes, I had all of this in my purse. I started digging through it to find something. I kust started pulling stuff out and everybody's eyes around me got really big. Someone even said they thought they could do surgery with all the stuff in my purse. hmmmm... I think I need to clean it out.

Pictures from animals gone wild

The picture on the left is the hole the stupid dog made and I have fixed over and over. The one on the right is Dobe stuck. He is perfectly fine now.

Animals gone wild

My animals have gone nuts! Yesterday my wonderful neighbor calls me while I am shopping with my sister downtown, at least an hour away withought traffic and it was the middle of rush hour. My neighbor lets me know that my 2 goats and and one dog, that is supposed to protect them, are down the street. They took themselves for a walk!!! My awesome neighbor hooded the trip back to my house and put them in my nice animal free fenced in yard. When I get home I discover a hole the dog has made in the goat fencing. So I mend it and put them back in their area. What do I see this morning? The stupid dog and one of the goats walking around the yard. I put them back and they get out again. So, I put them back in my nice back yard that animals are not allowed in and I had to leave. The dumb dog got out of 6 ft. wooden privacy fence and I still don't know how. I hear Dobe my oldest goat yelling from the back yard. He had tried to squeeze himself through the wooden posts in our deck and got stuck. I had to call my amazing neighbor to help me. He had to saw the post off to get him out. We then fix the fence over and over for the next 45 min. trying to keep the dumb dog in. The goats are secure in their area, but I had to put him back in the wooden back yard fence. He has already gotten out twice since my neighbor and I gave up, but I have no other choice. I am about to go crazy!

Dollywood

Bella and I went with my sister Kelli and Keelin to pick up her stepson, Leaf. He lives near Knoxville. So, on the way we went to Gatlinburg. Gatlinburg is very cheesy, but it is a lot of fun. To top it all off, we took the girls to Dollywood. The girls loved it. There was one of those Guess your age or weight games. I was so pleased the guy guessed my age wrong. I won a teddy bear!
